great news: nimasa Appoints diddan as Lead Consultant / Recognized Security Organization
It is our pleasure to inform you of our
appointment as the Lead Recognized Security Organization (LRSO) to the
Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA). This appointment highlights the Designated
Authority’s (DA) desire to strengthen the
implementation of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS)
Code.
As LRSO, we will act as an interface between the DA where necessary and stakeholders in ensuring effective and harmonious compliance with the ISPS Code in Nigeria’s maritime domain.
Furthermore, the new appointment highlights the DA’s desire especially in the collation, collection, and continuous appraisal of the maritime security industry thus effective preparedness against evolving national and global threats.
As an organization with the appropriate expertise in maritime security and safety, global threats, national security insight, ship, and port operations, this will aid us in no small measure towards compliance with the proper implementation of the ISPS code.
